90 Chancery Lane

Tucked just behind London’s historic Fleet Street, the refit of 90 Chancery Lane called for a rethink, and a partner who could make it happen quickly.

When the contractor and end user began exploring ways to reduce costs late in the programme, Intulux was invited in to help find a smarter route forward, one that could maintain the original vision and full compliance, without breaking the budget.

Where others might have seen a challenge, we saw an opportunity to show what we do best: listen, collaborate, and engineer value without compromise.

The Brief

  • Retain the look and feel the client had chosen.

  • Match the specification to remain fully compliant.

  • Reduce overall cost, without restarting the process.

Thinking on Our Feet: Our Approach

Working within existing specifications and tight timelines, our team developed a lighting solution that achieved full compliance with the original design brief, at a fraction of the initial cost.

We began by working closely with the contractor and end user to understand priorities, reviewing each element of the specification to pinpoint where efficiencies could be made.

We identified alternative fittings that maintained the same design aesthetic, matched every performance requirement, and could be delivered quickly to keep the programme on track.

The result was a seamless transition from concept to completion, a project that proved how collaboration, agility, and experience can turn a late-stage challenge into a success story.

The Outcome

The result was a lighting scheme that delivered on every front:

  • Design intent protected: the space looks and feels exactly as the client envisioned.

  • Full compliance maintained: every element met the required standards.

  • Meaningful cost savings achieved: value added where it mattered most.

  • Delivered on time and without disruption.

Why It Matters

Projects evolve. Budgets shift. Timelines rarely stretch.
90 Chancery Lane stands as a reminder that with collaboration and experience, it’s possible to adapt without compromise, keeping both design integrity and delivery on track.

Because the best lighting solutions aren’t just about products; they’re about partnerships that make the vision possible.

Lighting That Works as Beautifully as It Looks

The final design combined commercial LED linear luminaires with decorative pendants to create a refined, contemporary aesthetic in the lobby area.

In the offices, high-performance LED panels provided uniform lighting, visual comfort, and long-term efficiency, perfectly balancing form and function across every space.
